Eater PDX Names Petunia’s a Top Spot for Vegan Ice Cream!

Portlanders are happy to indulge in ice cream all year round, but prime ice cream season has finally arrived. Thanks to the many ice cream shops and seasonal pop-ups in town, vegan and lactose-intolerant ice cream lovers can have their pick of sweet treats like oat milk ice cream, soft serve sundaes, and fruity popsicles. This map highlights some of Portland’s top spots for vegan ice cream and other frozen treats to help stay cool all summer long….

While ice cream lovers won’t be able to dine in at the whimsical vegan and gluten-free cafe just yet, Petunia’s Pies & Pastries’ treat truck has been slinging coconut-based scoops, ice cream sandwiches, chocolate dipped cones, and sundaes throughout the Portland area. Those lucky enough to catch the truck in their neighborhood can enjoy fudgy brownies with mint chip ice cream, chocolate shell, and rainbow sprinkles. Pints and DIY sundae kits are available for walk-ins, takeout, and delivery.
