Petunia’s Pies & Pastries® would be honored to be a part of your celebration. We have years of experience, stellar customer service, lots of unique ideas for delicious custom flavors and beautiful decor to share with you! We are excited to get started!
Getting Started & Tasting Appointments
Please begin by filling out our Consultation Form. Once received, our wedding order coordinator will get in touch with you within 72 hours to discuss your celebration and get the process started. At this time since we are closed for indoor seating, we do offer custom tasting boxes. We will create unique flavor combinations just for you! The cost depends on how many cake/dessert flavors/items you would like to try. Your tasting fee (up to $35) can be applied as a payment to your wedding order of $350 or more. Please note, we typically need at least 2-3 weeks notice to arrange a tasting box, as we book out quickly and they require lead time as we make all custom flavors just for you! Tastings may only be available for orders that total over $200.
You will discuss your options, requests, and coordinate all the details via email with our wedding coordinator. She will be happy to help you book your order. The process is easy, and fun! Tastings are not required. You can choose to forgo the tasting, as many clients do, who love Petunia’s Pies & Pastries® and know that our custom creations will be amazing!
Each wedding cake and dessert will have its own pricing structure based on size, servings, decoration, detail, complexity, etc. As a base price ballpark, our basic tiered wedding cake pricing is generally around $6.50-7/serving for basic buttercream decoration and includes fresh flowers & greenery.
We do offer delivery for a fee based on mileage. These fees typically range anywhere from $55-90 for deliveries within the greater Portland Metro area. We can deliver further out, but it does get quite a bit more costly. Delivery is very strongly encouraged for tiered cakes to ensure they arrive safely and in good condition. Please ask about delivery cost first when inquiring about a long distance wedding.
We can help with basic dessert setup if requested. At this time, we do not provide or rent out any display or serve ware. Please ask our coordinator for specific details and costs. Please note-once product is delivered or approved upon pickup, any damages done beyond our control are not the responsibility of Petunia’s an we cannot be held liable. 🙂
Deposit & Payment Policies
We require a nonrefundable 50% down payment mailed via check or ACH Quickbooks payment to book your wedding date with us. The remainder is due via mailed check or ACH Quickbooks payment 2 weeks prior to the big day. Orders that are not paid in full by the 2 week deadline are subject to a late payment fee. Orders not paid for in full by 1 week before the wedding day are subject to cancelation without a refund. Orders cancelled 4 days or less before the pickup date are not eligible for a refund. The more notice the better for weddings! We ask for at least 2-3 months notice, but we always try to accommodate last minute requests. We don’t want to see you stressed, this should be fun!
